Confession: I actually don’t mind Selena Gomez as an actress, in fact, she’s actually a pretty good one.

And since I haven’t blogged on this blog in a while, I’ve decided that her new single “Come and get it” shall be my topic of the day. Also known as TOTD. yeah i don’t like that. totd.

I don’t know why I care so much but I just get really uncomfortable when songs by jb and some other tween pop artists come on the radio and because I’m so bored (why else would I be listening to tween pop rite) I start paying attention to the lyrics and OH MY GOD IT’S SO UNSETTLING TO THINK THAT KIDS ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THIS SHIT AND ENJOY IT.

I’m getting off topic. No not really I mean this is MY BLOG AND I CAN DO WHATEVER THE HECK I WANT (heck is a really badass word because it’s like hell and fuck so yeah).

The only reason I got so worked up is because most people probably know her from her disney days where she was all cute and sang cutesy love songs and now here she is going “You ain’t gotta worry it’s an open invitation” and “When you’re ready come and get it (na na na)”. Of course, being innocent and all I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT “IT” MEANS RIGHT SHE COULD BE SINGING ABOUT HER JOB AT THE POST OFFICE AND SHE’S TELLING SOMEONE THAT THEY CAN PICK THEIR PACKAGE UP WHENEVER THEY’RE READY.  *wink wink* *slaps self for winking because think of the kids* kids are so precocious nowadays.

I DON’T EVEN KNOW WAHT I’M TALKING ABOUT ANYMORE.

i actually have a LOT i want to rant about but i’m not ready to deal with the consequences (people finding this post, commenting, what if comment wars start, etc) so i’ll just post this and see what happens.

It’s my own personal opinion, but I think children should listen to songs with beautiful music and well written lyrics. They should listen to like….deep…musical and um instrumental stuff….yeah whatever i’m not even gonna share what i listened to (wHAT MY MOM LISTENED TO) anyway.

I believe that children should be taught about the dangers of this world, and life in general, in other ways. If it were up to me WE WOULD ALL GET SURGERY TO STOP US FROM LOVING LIKE IN DELIRIUM HAHAHAHHAHAH  I’d ban all these…these pathetic songs about…god knows what they’re about. i do not want to go into detail.

in other words i have better taste in music than you so you should worship me.

i was joking.

i was serious about joking.

parents should monitor what their kids listen to and watch.

unless their kids are cool like me then it’s okay.

I don’t trust myself to say anymore so, because I’m a cool kid and I know what’s good for me and what is not, I’m going to go watch this 18+ anime my mom let me get. I highly doubt durarara!! is 18+ though. whatever lah.

i like books more than i like you.

I am quite possibly the loneliest person on Earth right now and yet I still don’t feel alone enough. At times like this I wish I’d been shipwrecked on an island a la Robinson Crusoe, he probably didn’t have any idea how lucky he was to be all alone and not have to deal with other humans. But then again he probably didn’t have wifi or electricity so…..

I have another camp in June! Camps make me happy! Mwee! :3

i dislike everyone and dislike myself even more but more on that later because I have some rather exciting news~~~

……..hahahaha no.

well, maybe.

I mean I’ve been reading quite a bit, because ebooks and pdfs and because we now have an ipad I can rEAD IN THE DARK MWAHAHAHAHHAAHA. apparently it’s bad for your eyesight but idc at least i won’t have to get up to turn the lights off anymore.

Over the past few weeks I’ve read:

• all of John Green‘s novels, and they all made me cry. (Looking for Alaska is definitely my favorite, even though I love all of them so much.) 

• Abhorsen Trilogy; probably the only Garth Nix series I actually enjoyed. And cried over. (I was so happy to find them online because I haven’t seen them here AT ALL and only got the first book at some book sale and it was the only copy there)
• Pretties by some random dude idk. I actually kind of enjoyed this one, even though Uglies was just….ugh. Disappointing.
• LAST ARTEMIS FOWL BOOK WHICH MADE ME VERY ANGRY FOR SOME REASON SO I SHALL LEAVE IT AT THAT.
• Eoin Colfer’s The Wish List, because I never got to finish reading it and when I wanted to buy it I couldn’t find it anywhere.
• *takes a deep breath* THE STATISTICAL PROBABILITY OF LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. it was in my recommended section so wHY NOT.
• Charlie Higson’s The Sacrifice was absolutely delightful. Finally things are starting to make sense! v(=w=)v
• THE FREAKING MAZE RUNNER TRILOGY WAS SO INCREDIBLY AMAZING I SWEAR IT HAS ONE OF THE BEST PLOTS EVER (don’t try to be smart by telling me i obviously have not read many books then, pfft.) AND I FINISHED ALL OF THEM IN 2 DAYS BECAUSE I COULD. NOT. STOP. READING.
• And all the Mortal Instruments books.
• I tried starting on Insurgent but Tris is just so…ugh.

 

In other news, my mom cleaned my room for me and now I can’t find anything. I have successfully succeeded in messing it up again though. And now to clean it before she gets back. sigh.

I really don’t know what else to write about because I just feel like whining and ranting.
