August is nearly over and I just found out today’s a Sundae….omnomnom

is it just me or does wordpress take a really long time to load?

Uh huh….so last friday night~ No actually yesterday was saturday teehee. 😛 Me and my mom went karaoke-ing because a few months ago she (I have no idea why) got a membership card or whatever AND you get free stuff! 😀 Well actually you get free vouchers and they expire tomorrow so yesterday we used….the free jug of coke one I think. AND they were having this lucky draw thing, unfortunately you had to stick your arm in and find a ping pong ball in a box full of little foam thingys, and the balls kept running away from me. In the end I managed to grab an unsuspecting ping pong ball( Muahahaha!) and drag it out. Buy 1 bucket get 1 free. Don’t ask. -.-”

So mommy let me have my songs first and the first thing I chose was….yes you guessed right! Gee~! I had no idea the lyrics would be korean, YES I know it’s a korean song but I expected it to be well, letters. BUT I memorized the whole song already so I didn’t even need lyrics. 😛 Then after that it was Oh!  and Genie and then SHINee’s Lucifer and Hello~And of course I just HAD to annoy my mom with my favorite song of all time…..THISHehehe…twas so fun. XD

It would have been MUCH better if they hadn’t been bursting in (without knocking!) everytime we were in the middle of a song, something like, would you like to order your drinks now? Or here’s the bill, OR right here’s your change. UGH.

My mom was having her own personal concert, and….it was pure torture. They even had Ellie Goulding! Yay! 😀 And because I love this song so much, here it is! ( I miss adding videos…it takes up space and makes me post look longer)

……just noticed the words are in green? No? Are you colorblind?

What I’ve been doing for the past hmm…..3-4 weeks or so. Well first there was that whole family comes to Penang thing, then after that…ahh….I stayed at my grandma’s place, because, well Imma change color so you can read better, k?

I don’t like hospitals, I mean yes they’re all air conditioned and….antiseptic but it…idk I just don ‘t like ’em. So my grandma grew this giant, very looks-like-it-belongs-in-Fringe-ey “giant sell tumor. Or that’s what the lab analysis said, phew I feel so smart. (PS: I get this feeeling when I pass by USM too 😛 ) And it was on her left hand, that spot between your thumb and index finger, I don’t think it has a special name, so they remooofed it. Sooo she went for surgery in the morning, and me frogurt what we did that day…Oh yeah we went back home. And slept. After surgery she went to daycare(it’s very expensive lol!) and my mom picked her up. It was swollen the first day but now after about 2 weeks it’s muuuch better. So tomorrow we’re going for one last final( I hope) check up with Dr….I forgot his name. Oh well…

OOoh yeah! FYI, PAH! (Penang Adventist Hospital) has really yummy…baked stuff at the bakery. :9

So that’s what I’ve been doing….babysitting. Not really, but yeah. And I have to help cook everyday because mama needs healthy homescho–homeCOOKED food. This includes steamed fish. But yesterday we had pizza…..

Hmm….something cool…let’s see.

So me and Karewn have a lot of favorite cartoons in common! E.g.g.(whatever that means) Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, DANNY PHANTOM!!! TEEN TITANS! MARTIN MYSTERY! WINX CLUB! W.I.T.C.H! CATDOG! ED, EDD AND EDDY! Ahh I just LOVE those cartoons so much…too bad they all got cancelled. Sob sob. T.T

Spykids 4 came out a few weeks ago, I really, really wanna watch it, Spykids 4: in 4d. I’m so excited.

Post on Cowboys and Aliens coming up soon. When I feel like it.

Thea’s random thoughts about stuff that happened in school #01

Hey…maybe I can start writing stuff like this, things that I actually remember from my 4 years of schooling. I know 4 years doesn’t seem like a long time, but you have to understand, seconds, minutes, hours are longer to…erm…children. So yesh I have a TON of interesting stuff from school I have never told anyone else about, and I shall save all those stories for times when I feel like typing but have nothing to write about. And, 4 years = 1460 days. ( I think, I’m so dumb I dunno how to use a calculator. XD) Buuut, you know me, I must’ve skipped at least 50 days in my first school (was there for 2 years) and in my second one I started to get really REALLY bored so duh I skipped more. And I can say this without thinking twice, I don’t miss any of it. It’s not worth going through all that trouble and suffering just to MAYBE meet a really great friend. Pfft. So back to my random thought….

I am 10. I am in Std 4 (primary 4 for you singa—cough cough). The dreaded moment has come…(man I should start writing cheap horror novels!) I have to pick an extracurricular (spelled WITHOUT spell checker! nyehehe!) activity. All students have a choice of:

Cadets: ugly green uniform, staying out in the sun, chanting stuff.

Mini story: My friend Marissa was late in handing in her whatever whatever thing, and she hadn’t chosen an activity yet, so in the end they dumped her in cadets. FYI, she is NOT the kind of person who likes being in the sun the whole afternoon, she is (hope she doesn’t find this) one of those tossy-hair princess types, yes, she is smart, she just no likey sun.

Girl scouts? Or whatever them horrible yellow/brown things is called

If you like sitting around in a circle sharing stories and singing silly songs, then this is for you! ahaha…I personally think it sucks

What’s that other one called..hmm….bulan sabit merah?

basically first aid stuff idk….no i was not interested in that either

Chess club (ooh la la~!)

I am just horrible at chess. Partly because my whole family is ADD.  And Me is too dumb. Phew I’m glad I got that off my chest! Lame pun. -.-”

I was delaying it for as long as possible, until finally there was taekwondo and I took it. Ugh. Biggest mistake I ever made. Now I guess I would be pretty good at taekwondo, I’m not so clumsy anymore, I can kick people in the face, and I can tie knots! 😀 But back then I was… to put this nicely, I was clumsier than a Psyduck with a headache. AND to make things worse, chubby little me just couldn’t kick high enough….so…yeah. I am considering joining taekwondo again, partly because I bought the damn uniform and I haven’t grown much so may as well use it, and partly because I wanna see how much I’ve “improved”. I started learning when I was 10, it’s been 3 years so let’s see. 🙂

PS: I never made it past my white belt, and no, I have nothing against being in a class of 5 year olds, it’s happened before.

Oh yeah, my story, I’m getting there just wait! Well what I….omg I just had a jojo’s circus flashback for no reason..You know, this?

So it’s basically, at the end of every show they sing this song “Hey Jojo whaddaya say? we all wanna know what you learned today~” and she tells them the moral of today’s show…I LOVED that cartoon, I love anything clay-ish actually, me thinkies it’s called claynimation. I have a phobia of clowns, no I’m not gonna find out what it’s called, probably freakophobia or something like that, but it’s kinda serious I’ve had it for as long as I can remember, I even have a pic of me when I was 4 with a clown. I was crying. BUT I LOVE JOJO’S CIRCUS!!! These clowns are just adorable…gah I’m getting off topic!

I kinda realize that it was a bit dumb to take up a martial art without having like any knowledge of it or whatever. Now I’m that kind of person who reads the book before seeing the movie. And I guess I am control freak-ey ’cause I always wanna know what exactly I’m doing and read about the history about it and all that. So I was very unprepared when I attended my first lesson. Now after reading and understanding a little more, I guess taekwondo is kinda my thing, IT’S KOREAN HAHAHA. But it’s different and it’s actually kinda cool without being too….Ip man-ish. And I’m not gonna learn it for “self defense” or any of that *****  , never did anyway, but I wanna learn it because there’s an ART in martial arts and APPARENTLY I’m an arty fart.

Self defense? Uh huh….I could defend myself better with a potato peeler than with a black belt. I mean seriously, what are you supposed to do? wave your belt in the….attacker’s face till it (yes, IT)  goes away? Pfft. But there’s no point because before my brain can remember any cool moves my elbow would already be automatically, well, elbowing. And in case anyone hasn’t noticed, the world’s pretty safe now, no like random army dudes gonna jump outta the forest and attack you and take over your village or anything….(has random super mario flashback (yeah, I have a lot of flashbacks) )

But there are still tons of parents forcing their kids to take up a martial art, and no, it’s not gonna make your kid snap out of their laziness or whatever going-to-school-side effects they have, in faaaact, it’s gonna make ’em hate you even MORE! 😀 No offence, but unless your kid is the next whatever Li, don’t bother forcing them. (*smacks forehead! Why I gotta be so mean…..)

Mommy never forced me to do taekwondo, but that’s because she’s not a sporty person and she’d rather me excel in math or piano or something. Unfortunately those are the 2 things I’m the worst at. But I do play a mean recorder! ( I meant that metaphorically….) And I’m excellent at coloring in the lines and doing pretty much everything else my mom hates, including listening to K pop:

I can sing this entire song!!! super fast reading + natural korean singer = best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen, but unfortunately not the best your ears have heard…..

Then I have no idea how, but you end up listening to this:

Loved that song ever since it came out when I was 9 and still in school, still love it now, 13 and out of school. So yes! The end! of my so called wannabe random post which is basically about NOTHING in general….but hey, I add random (I overuse that word..) and totally unrelated videos AND you get to know embarrassing facts about me! You can use these to tease/make fun of me in the future! 😀 Of course if you’re the horse ridin\’ crazy cakin\’ cupcake queen, you won’t have to know all this, you just make it up on the spot! Ciao~! 😛

Hehehe….Gee gee gee gee baby baby baby! If you had told me 3 months ago that I would be addicted to K pop, I’d have ignored you and blotted you out of my life.  But now….I’m so addicted I can’t go a day without my beloved Gee! It’s just so catchy and cute. No I do not speak korean, and to make up for that let me tell you a very in-teresting story.

2 years ago, I think, it was waaaaaaay back when she still kept a diary and called me Dorothea (what the hell?), Aunty Wai Leng  picked me and my mom up, then we went and picked Am and Karen up from robotics class. After we picked her up, my mom noticed Karen’s name on her folder, and back then she didn’t know they just got back from robotics class, so she asked, “Oh so you’re learning Korean?” And KCC replied: “NO, my NAME is Karen.” Mommy: “oh…” we didn’t talk much I remember thinking “man I can’t wait to get away from this…err” and now we are apparently best friends. Huh. Oh yes she was the genius who got me on FB in the first place. So granny dears, if you need anyone to blame for my addiction, BLAME HER. And here we are, 2 years later, addicted to Korean dudes and mannequins doing ridiculous dances and lip syncing.

Karen got addicted because her japanese friend Machika, well, got her addicted DUH. Then she infected Swathy, me, ZW, and finally 2 of her 3 brothers.

It’s just so entertaining….alright back to my Gee topic.

“Gee” is a fast-tempo song about a girl who has fallen in love for the first time.[5] The title is supposed to be an exclamation of surprise, similar to “어머나!” (Eomeona!, similar in meaning to “Oh, my goodness!”, or, more similarly, “Gee!” in English).[5

Japanese version

Korean version

Both of them are translated into english, and I had no idea they were different. But anyway you get the idea. And I still have no idea why I’m sooo addicted to that song, and…..I CAN DO THAT DANCE.  yarh I only do it when no one’s watching but it counts! 😛 My mom has a pair of purple pants like those….it looks great on her but I still have nightmares about her doing this:

I was doing some…intense research on a particular individual, well actually a few individuals, and I cannot tell you who they are because I got a feeling (whooo hooo~) okay I didn’t have to do that part but I have a feeling that they may stalk me to idk it’s just natural. Or I’m just paranoid….My posts are quite long-ish at least they’re normal lah! Not as long as Karen’s but still ok. I read a few of the shortest blogposts ever today, some only containing 2 sentences. It was shocking actually. But if they’re allowed to do it, surely I am too! So I shall post 2 sentenced blogs from now on! har har. 😛

I am not in a good mood. I guess I would blame the fever, walking around QBay mall till my legs were sore, not having enough rest, etc. But I don’t feel like blaming. I feel like complaining. Let us begin…..

My uncle arrived on….well I don’t really care when, but he arrived. And he stayed for a night, then left for Thailand the next afternoon. BUT, before he left my wonderful fantastic grandma got sick. 😦 So we had to bring her to a clinic, the first one was HORRIBLE and they didn’t even tell us to wait! They just plain ignored us, I could tell you the name of course, but I….I wanna be like Darren Shan that’s why! Not because I don’t wanna say bad stuff about them, I just wanna be like Darren Shan! 😀 The next one we went to was really great, it was at Crystal Point, and it’s also a place where you get hearing aids or something. I’m tired so no more links, I just wanna vent….otherwise I get headaches. And that was great, only we had lunch at this horrible lousy Italian wannabe restaurant, and I got food poisoning! Yay! -.-”

Came back on Friday(if you start singing immakeeleuw)  and we went to QBay, we didn’t make it for the 7pm Captain America, so we bought tickets for the earliest one tomorrow (today). Weeeelll that uncle of mine lost the parking ticket, AND we had to walk for HOURS I repeat HOURS around Qbay looking for it (hey he can’t help the fact that my mom took all the intelligence!) We quite literally walked the whole mall, inside out. I know you think that’s impossible( sing anything and i’ll kill you) but WE did. Or at least I did, my uncle was taking his time waddling like Mr Tiny. I was so damn tired but DarTiny (my uncles 1st name is Daryll, and yes, I know it’s a girls name) refused to take the lift OR walk inside. So I was stuck walking through the cargo bay, and under vents from KFC, and tons of other deesgusting places. Oh and by the way, just in case you thought Penang is tiny and the malls must be tiny too, (NO as in small sized! not Mr Tiny!) it’s NOT. And the worst part is, it’s actually kinda ugly, sure it’s tiny compared to all them Dubai malls, but still HUGE.

Oh and I’m guessing he probably lost the parking ticket that caused my shin-ache at this glasses shop called London Eye or whatever that’s at Queensbay mall Penang. I hate that place so much I don’t give a (pop noise) what they say about this post. What’s the worst they could do? Puh lease if they can even get their brains working long enough to fetch someone a mirror, I’d give them an award. So anyway the “owner” or wtvr of that place is my uncles (ahem ahem!) old friend or something. I personally think she’s a bit….I mean a BIT sloppy, but hey, at least she practices smiling and gives the dudes a good time shopping for their eyes. omg. GLASSES. SPECTACLES. LENSES YOU PUT ON YOUR EYEBALLS IF THEY AREN’T COMPLETELY ROUND GAWD WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! I am having a lot of fun writing this.punch punch punch. I wonder if I can do voodoo like this. lol. So anyways my uncle always goes to that place when he’s in Penang, and he comes back with new glasses (still ugly and similar to the previous pair) and a HUGE( exaggerating again!) soppy grin on his face. Ugh. Gross.

Okay it was more like the First Avenger but who cares?! 😛 It was okay I guess, 3.5 stars, I ignored the WW2 part coz 1) I couldn’t see Roald Dahl flying around (google him if you’re one of those weird people who don’t know who he is) and it was very blablaboring. And the 3D part didn’t make a difference, the only really awesome 3D part was when he threw his shield. I want that shield. So bad. Another interesting story~

We slept quite late, because I was reading (tell ya bout that later) and my uncle  went out……I think I best let him keep that ‘secret’. And I woke up at 10am, because my grandma got back from her morning walk and started shaking me, I showered and got dressed, while that slob of an uncle remained asleep. I know I should call him that, but serves him right dragging me all over QBay. And by the time we got there it was 11.30. Huh. Can you believe it? (well I know a certain Mr JY won’t but who cares) And the movie hadn’t started yet! After we arrived, more people finally came and after 10 minutes of ads the movie started. Phew!

Vampire Destiny

Oh yeah on Friday my uncle got me a book! It’s Darren Shan’s Vampire Destiny trilogy. The last 3 books. All in one. Ahhhh (melts in a bittersweet fondue way) It was so sad. I don’t wanna give any spoilers, because The Saga of Darren Shan is something you have to read for yourself, it’s one of THE best books out there, why it didn’t get movies as good as( or better than) the Harry Potter series, IDK.

‘ Leaves the reader hungry for more’ – JK Rowling

I am hungry for more. But unfortunately it is the end of the saga of Darren Shan. Reading it will always be one of my favorite memories. </3

So the end of my very  annoying weekend. I just got some really bad news, and I’m not going to share it.  it’s too sad. I doubt people even read this far, but if you have, bravo! give yourself a hug! now shoo and leave me alone. (steams in corner like an emo broccoli)
